the room was basic but comfy and clean. parking was easy and convinent. we got to check in early, which was a nice surprise. i really liked the breakfast option, it was good value. the staff were really friendly too!
however, the check-in process was a bit confusing since u have to go to the bar. also, there were some issues with the bed, it felt kinda worn out and uncomfortable.

Comfy chairs in the room would be nice.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We visited the stunning coast and the iconic abbey. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options, and the staff were super friendly. Great to find a place with ample parking and close to attractions!
We asked for twin beds but got a double. Had to chase extra towels too, which was a bit annoying.

Clean room with excellent Wi-Fi, but the view of the waste disposal was disappointing.

Family with children accommodation provided a comfortable stay with excellent breakfast offerings, including regional jams. The large parking area was convenient, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The bus route across the road is a plus, but be prepared for a significant uphill return after visiting town. Room soundproofing was effective, although the walk to town takes around 15 minutes.

good stay but needs improvement
The room was well-appointed and very clean with everything in order while the large car park was a definite plus allowing easy access to my vehicle.
I wish breakfast options were available earlier than 7am.

The Penny Hedge is a lovely spot with friendly staff and clean rooms. While the breakfast is decent, it could use some improvements in terms of variety. Parking is convenient, and I appreciated the good food in the pub next door. The room, however, lacked enough storage space.

Couple's getaway quite nice
Had a wonderful experience with the staff especially. One of the waitresses, Ellie, was just amazing, ran around helping everyone and her service was top notch. The room was clean and very cozy, just like I needed for some time away.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still within reason.

Noisy traffic at night.

missingWrote a review on Apr 01noise issues
The twin beds could use an upgrade. a larger size would fit more comfortably in the space provided. The noise from the main road in the morning can be bothersome if your room faces it. The heating setup—shared with air conditioning—lacked clear instructions, making it a bit tricky to get right. Inconsistent housekeeping also posed an issue, with varying cleanliness from day to day, including unemptied bathroom bins throughout the stay.
